Graphic for Growing our Faith Through Generosity blog by Karen SeunarineHave you seen God walking down the street? She looks like you, He looks like me!

A great song by Victor Wooten “I Saw God.” In my travels to Ontario churches I hear a fear that the church is going to die.

“God’s mission” I say, “is going to go on in spite of us. The question is are we going to be a part of it?”

Victor is getting out the message of God. In the Bible Jesus says “love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, pray for them who despitefully use you and persecute you (Mat. 5:44).”

What about those we despise? Victor’s lyrics say as if God were talking “the answer will be clear when you see Me (God) in their eyes.” “I saw God the other day…She looked like you He looked like me.” What are we to do with that line?

God’s grandest miracles are us! Let’s start being the miracle. Have a listen to I Saw God.

What would you do to be that miracle?
