About the 2016-2017 Exchange
This October from the 13th-21st, a delegation of 16 people from Toronto Conference will travel to Korea as a part of an exchange program with Seoul Presbytery, in The Presbyterian Church in the Republic of Korea (PROK). Seoul Presbytery delegates will pay a return visit to Toronto Conference at the end of May, 2017.
The partnership of The Presbyterian Church in the Republic of Korea and The United Church of Canada is deeply valued. Our churches treasure the opportunity to embody that partnership in lived relationships. In the past those relationships have been primarily expressed in the appointment of mission personnel to serve in Korea. As times have changed, and in the context of the new Mutual Recognition of Ministry Agreement, our churches are exploring new ways of living out partnership, based on people to people as well as institutional connections.
